Tom Whitwell, CPA, FCCA
Tom is an accounting and finance executive with almost 20 years of multinational experience across three continents. His career includes senior leadership roles at Advance Auto Parts, NetApp, Toast, Qualcomm, and Intuit, as well as more than a decade with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Tom is based in the Greater Raleigh area of North Carolina where he lives with his wife, 3 children, dog and flock of chickens.
Tom has led global accounting teams, advised executive leadership and audit committees, managed public-company reporting, supported finance and ERP transformations, and addressed complex matters involving multi-billion dollar transactions impacting revenue recognition, business combinations and debt offerings (both public and private), in addition to impairments, stock-based compensation, consolidations, and certain equity transactions. His international experience includes working in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia and collaborating with multinational teams across complex regulatory and reporting environments.
Through Olsade Consulting, Tom combines deep technical expertise with a practical, business-focused approach to help organizations develop defensible accounting conclusions, strengthen external reporting, and translate complex requirements into effective operational solutions.
